I have a 460 with a Panther and rarely get over 160... No T Stat, just valves to control flow...

I was wondering what to expect the temperature to be ... what's to hot for a Boat ??? 200 ....210 ??? just wondering ... it's a 454 with a panther .......

My water temp seldom gets past 120 or so....Once warmed up....my oil temp is perfect. You cant compare these to a car...open vs closed. Not sayin a thermostat kit cant/wont work. But I am sayin oil temp is as important.. if not more important/relevant in the temp area.
